Wine School August 27th: Down Under - Australia & New Zealand

  • Putnam's vine/yard 188 South Main Street Hartford, VT, 05001 United States (map)

Ready for a taste adventure? Grab your glass and head south, way south! In this class, we’re exploring the bold, fresh, and wildly expressive wines of Australia and New Zealand.

From the juicy, spicy Shiraz of the Barossa Valley to the zesty, aromatic Sauvignon Blancs of Marlborough, along with lesser-known gems from both countries, this tasting will guide you through a range of styles, regions, and surprises from these premier producers of the Southern Hemisphere.

We’ll dive into what makes these wines so distinct, from wild coastlines and sunny vineyards to cool-climate pockets and ancient soils, all while enjoying a curated flight that showcases the diversity and vibrancy of Down Under.

This class is perfect for anyone who enjoyed our Down Under Red Wine flight on our Quarter 2 menu and wants to dive even deeper into Australian and New Zealand wines.

Tickets are non-refundable, but they are transferable between friends! You can view our Cancellation Policy here!
