Effervescent, elegant, and endlessly festive, sparkling wine is much more than a celebration in a glass. Join us for a guided journey through the world of bubbles as we explore the history, craftsmanship, and global diversity of sparkling wines.
In this class, you’ll learn about the key production methods that bring sparkle to the glass, including both the traditional and tank methods, and how these techniques influence texture, flavor, and aging potential. We’ll examine how different approaches, grape varieties, and regions—from Champagne and Crémant in France to Prosecco, Cava, and New World sparkling wines—shape the style, complexity, and character of the final wine. Through a thoughtfully selected tasting, we’ll showcase a range of expressions, from bone-dry and mineral-driven to rich and fruit-forward, illustrating the remarkable versatility of sparkling wine.
Whether you’re a Champagne enthusiast or just beginning to explore the world of bubbles, this class is designed for wine lovers of all levels. You’ll have the opportunity to taste, compare, and deepen your appreciation for the expressive and diverse nature of sparkling wines. Raise a glass with us and discover why there’s always a good reason to pop a cork!
