WINE SCHOOL: Wines of Spain & Portugal

This wine class focuses on Spanish and Portuguese wines, offering a journey through two of the world's most renowned wine-producing regions. In this class, we’ll explore the rich history and unique wine-making traditions of Spain and Portugal, gaining insights into the distinct grape varieties and regional characteristics that define their wines. This class will includes tastings of signature wines from both countries!

Instructor Bio:

We’re lucky to have Victoria Tuzet teaching in the Putnam’s classroom. Victoria is originally from Montréal, Canada and recently moved to the Upper Valley from Southern California. An avid traveler, Victoria has always prioritized world renowned wine regions throughout her adventures. Victoria most recently spent 4 months living abroad in Spain, where she was able to venture to a few nearby wine regions including Rioja, Cava and Porto. She spent the 2022 Harvest in the Rhône Valley, France, assisting an organic and biodynamic vineyard in winemaking production. She recently completed her Level 3 Wine & Spirits Education Trust Certification and is currently pursuing the WSET Diploma. In her spare time you can find her watching documentaries, attempting to bake, or crafting!
